Color A =  Brick

Color B = Sweet Pea

Color C = Espresso

Color D = Cranberry

Color E = Kelly Green

Crochet Hook:

Size 6.0mm US J or  size needed to obtain correct gauge

Notions:

Finished Measurements:

Each Hexagon measures 6” from point to point

Edge stitch count = 60 sts

Abbreviations and Special Stitches:

Pattern Notes:

➢    All Rnds are worked on the right side unless otherwise noted.

➢    All stitches are worked through both loops unless otherwise noted.

Santa Fe

Color A – 4 yds Color B – 6 yds Color C – 8 yds

Instructions:

With color A, form a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st to beginning sc. (6 sc)

Rnd 1: Ch 3, (dc, ch 3, sl st) in same st as beginning ch 3, [(sl st, ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st) in next sc] 5 times, sl st in same st as beginning ch 3, fasten off. (6 petals made)

Rnd 2: Join color B with a sc in any dc, (ch 2, sc) in same dc, [ch 4, (sc, ch 2, sc) in next dc] 5 times, ch 4, sl st in beginning sc. (6 ch 4 sps, 6 ch 2 sps)

Rnd 3: Sl st in next ch 2 sp, ch 1, 3 sc in same sp, [4 sc in next ch 4 sp, 3 sc in next ch 2 sp] 5 times, 4 sc in next ch 4 sp, sl st to beginning sc, fasten off. (56 sc around)

Rnd 4: Join color C with a sl st in the middle sc of any 3 sc group, ch 5 (as dc, ch 2), dc in same sc, [dc in next 6 sc, point as (dc, ch 2 dc) in next sc] 5 times, dc in next 5 sc, sl st to 3rd chain of beginning ch 5, fasten off. (8 dc per side, points as ch 2)

 

Gallup

Color B –  3 yds   Color D – 7 yds   Color E – 7 yds

Instructions:

With color B, form a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st to beginning sc. (6 sc)

Rnd 1: Ch 6, sl st in same st, [(sl st , ch 6, sl st) in next sc] 5 times, sl st in same st as beginning ch, fasten off. (6 ch-6 loops)

Rnd 2: Join color D with a sc in any ch loop, [ch 5, sc in next ch loop] 5 times, ch 5, sl st to beginning sc, fasten off. (6 ch-5 loops)

Rnd 3: Join color E with a sl st to any ch loop, ch 3 (as dc), dc in same ch loop, [ch 1, 7 dc in next ch loop] 5 times, ch 1, 5 dc in same loop as beginning ch 3, sl st to top of beginning ch 3, fasten off. (42 dc, 6 ch 1 sps)

Rnd 4: Join color  D with a sc in any ch 1 sp, [sc in next 3 dc, 3 sc in next dc, sc in next 3 dc, sc in next ch 1 sp] 5 times, sc in next 3 dc, 3 sc in next dc, sc in next 3 dc, sl st to beginning sc, fasten off. (60 sc around)

 

Ruidoso

Color B – 15 yds   Color A – 3.5 yds    Color C – 4.5 yds

With color B, form a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st to beginning sc. (6 sc)

Rnd 1: Ch 3, BN10 in same st, [2 BN10 in next sc] 5 times, BN10 in same st as beginning ch 3, sl st to top of first BN, fasten off. (12 BN)

Rnd 2: Join color A with a sc between any 2 BN, ch 2, sc in same sp, *ch 1, sc between next 2 BN, ch 1,** (sc, ch 2, sc) between next two BN* repeat from * to * 5 more times ending at ** on final repeat, sl st to beginning sc, fasten off. (18 sc, 6 ch 2 sps, 12 ch 1 sps)

Rnd 3: Join color C with a sc in any ch 2 sp, ch 2, sc in same sp, *[ch 1, sc in next ch sp] 2 times, ch 1,** (sc, ch 2, sc) in next ch sp* repeat from * to * 5 more times ending at ** on final repeat, sl st to beginning sc, fasten off. (24 sc, 6 ch 2 sps, 18 ch 1 sps)

Rnd 4: Join color B with a sl st in any ch 2 sp, ch 5 (as dc, ch 2), dc in same sp, *[2 dc in next ch 1 sp] 3 times, ** (dc, ch 2, dc) in next ch 2 sp* repeat from * to * 5 more times ending at ** on final repeat, sl st to 3rd ch of beginning ch 5, fasten off. (48 dc, 6 ch 2 sps)
