Worsted weight yarn – Cotton recommended for absorbency.

Finished Measurements: 5” diameter
Abbreviations and Special Stitches:
Bullion (BN#) – Yo amount indicated by number following “BN” insert hook into stitch indicated, yo, draw up a loop, yo, pull through all but last loop on hook, yo, pull through 2 loops to close.
Linked Bullion (LBN) – Yo 4 times, insert hook in the 5th wrap from the base of the previous BN, pulling it over in line with the wraps you are currently making , yo 5 times, insert hook into stitch indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 11 loops on hook, yo, pull through 2 loops to close.
Joining Linked Bullion (JLBN)– Yo 4 times, insert hook in the 5th wrap from the base of the previous BN, yo 5 times, insert hook into stitch indicated, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 6 loops, carefully remove last loop from hook, insert hook into the 6th loop (from the base) of the first BN, place loop back on hook, pull through loop and through next 5 loops on hook, yo, pull through final 2 loops to close.

All stitches are worked through both loops unless otherwise noted.
Pattern is written in Standard American Terms.
Rnd 1: Form an adjustable ring, ch1, 10 sc in ring, sl st to beg sc. (10 sc)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, BN10 in same st, LBN in same st, [2 LBN in next st] 8 times, LBN in next st, JLBN in same st as last LBN, sl st to top of beg BN10. (20 LBN)
Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in same st, [ch 2, sc in next LBN] 19 times, hdc in beg sc (as ch-2). (20 sc, 20 ch-2 sps)
Rnd 4: Ch 2 (does not count as st), (hdc, sc) in same ch-2 sp, [sc, hdc, sc) in next ch-2 sp] 19 times, sc in same ch-2 sp as beg ch-2, invisible join to beg hdc to fasten off. (20 hdc, 40 sc)
Weave in any remaining ends. Block according to yarn contents.
