Meet Miss Ineeda Clue
The first installment in the Miss Ineeda Clue CAL
By Donna Kay Lacey
Clue # 2
Now don’t get me wrong. Miss Ineeda maintained a neat appearance. Her suits were pressed and usually finished off with a neat scarf, her shoes were polished and every morning she would twist and weave her long curly hair into a neat bun on the top of her head.
Weave the center loops:
1. Pull each Rnd 2 color B loop through each Rnd 1 color A loop.
2. Thread every other Rnd 3 color C loop through each Rnd 2 color B loop. *NOTE* the Rnd 3 loops you will be using will be the ones that correspond with the previous woven loops.
3. Pull each Rnd 4 color D loop through each Rnd 3 color C loop.
Rnd 5: Rejoin color D with a sc in any color D loop whose loops link back to the Rnd 1 loops, *sk next dc, dc in next dc, sk next dc, 5 sc in next color D loop, sk next dc, dc in next dc, sk next dc, ** sc in next color D loop* rep from * to * 7 times ending at ** on final rep, sl st to beg sc. (16 dc, 48 sc)
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in same st, *sc in next dc, ch 4, sk next 5 sc, sc in next dc, ** sc in next sc,* rep from * to * 7 times ending at ** on final rep, sl st to beg sc, fasten off. Pull the ch-4 sps behind the groups of 5 skipped scs, fasten off. (24 sc, 8 ch-4 sps)
